On the surface: We start with a Streamline Checkerboard Quilting which features one-quarter-inch of 100% cozyPURE wool under soft organic cotton circular stretch knit fabric to keep your body in close contact with the five performance zones for ultimate recovery, less tossing and more returned-energy and comfort during sleep.
We specifically use a small amount of wool on top of our 5-Zone Pure Performance Latex Mattress Core so you can get close to the comfort yet still receive the wonderful benefits of our wool. Temperature regulating and moisture resistant, our wool allows moisture to wick away combined with our deliciously smooth organic cotton, both fibers naturally BREATHE - just like we do - to resonate with your body and provide the best regulation possible during sleep.
Our organic cotton fabric is featured in a stretch knit that MOVES with your body AND the latex mattress. Tightly-woven fabrics, like canvas, constrict the dynamic contouring flexibility of the latex mattress. Our quilting enhances the lovely latex mattress underneath, which is the winning component in our Pure Performance™ Latex mattresses.
Our 5-Zone Pure Performance Latex Mattress core is made from pure, creamy white natural latex rubber ergonomically designed to provide the support your body needs and craves while also yielding more give in the area of the larger bony structure of your shoulders.
Above the core we add another 3" thick piece of sculpted pillow-zoned soft natural latex to provide a superior unity of support and plush softness that delivers uncompromising comfort for folks wanting a surface cushion but also a properly supportive base.
If you prefer a firmer surface, look at our Pure Performance Core Mattress which doesn't include the softer surface.
Pure Performance Plush is designed to go directly on a platform slat bed frame.
Please note: Queen and King Size mattresses are often shipped with the 3" layer separate which you easily place inside the zipper case. We do this to ensure the shipping carton isn't too over-sized.
