Wood Slat Foundations

CozyPure® mattresses are designed to be supported by slats. If you have a wood slat platform bed frame with slats spaced approximately two to three inches apart, then no foundation is necessary.

If you have a metal frame, or just prefer the additional height of a foundation, then you should add a slat box foundation when ordering your mattress. The CozyPure Slat Box Foundations are made from FSC-certified wood and covered with GOTS-certified organic cotton quilted damask fabric.

Our Slat Foundations are offered in three different heights so you can choose the one most appropriate for your bedframe.

1. Bunkie-Board - 1.5" height
2. Low-Profile - 5" height
3. Standard - 9" height
